You can view the notifications like missed calls, new emails and more on the curved portion of the display. In other words, you do not need to fire up the entire screen to view your notifications. Galaxy Note Edge Release Date and Price in US
The Galaxy Note Edge price has not been officially announced by Samsung. When Samsung had announced the Galaxy Note Edge alongside the Galaxy Note 4 on Sept 3, it neither revealed the price nor the release date of the new phablet model.
At the launch event, Samsung only claimed that the device would arrive later this year. Even well-known tech sites are also indicating that the Galaxy Note Edge may arrive around the end of the year.
Two separate models of the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge has already clear FCC certification and Bluetooth certification. Handsets can be sold in the market, if they pass these two certifications. Even the Note Edge has passed the filings, there is no concrete news on when the Galaxy Note Edge would arrive.
The Galaxy Note Edge is surely going to be made available through all the major carriers of the US such as AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile and Sprint. However, even the carriers are tightlipped on as to when they will start selling the Note Edge.
The carriers of US haven’t started with the pre-orders but they have prompted users to leave their email address with them so that they can be notified when the Note Edge will be made available.
The Galaxy Note 4 release date has not been announced yet. The teaser ads which Samsung has been using to make fun of the iPhone 6 Plus indicate that the Note 4 will arrive sometime in the month of October.
The iPhone 6 Plus which is major competitor for the Galaxy Note 4 is going to be available for purchase from Sept 19. Apple claims that the demand for the first pre-orders broken the records all the iPhone models that came out in the past years. Within a day of starting the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus pre-orders, Apple managed to achieve more than 4 million unit sales.
The Galaxy Note Edge is expected to arrive late within this year. Even if it takes a month or two arrive, most of the customers who want to purchase a new smartphone will go for options like the Galaxy Note, iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 6 or Moto X.
Only loyal potential buyers who are impressed with extra bit of display screen of the Note Edge will continue to wait longer until the handset arrives. It is interesting to know that the South Korean tech giant is speculated to have manufactured only 1 million Galaxy Note Edge handsets where it is known to have manufactured over 11 million units of Galaxy Note 4.
