Apple unveiled two new iPhones at its most anticipated launch event in years, as it looked to larger screens and wearable technology to take on Samsung and recapture Steve Jobs’ spirit of innovation. Apple seeks to reclaim its lost sheen as the innovator of new and revolutionary ideas. The new products range from stylish wearable gadgets and slimmer iPhones to new health-tracking and payment systems.
Apple CEO Tim Cook called the “best iPhones” the company has ever produced. The iPhone 6 has glass which curves around the sides of the phone as it meets the anodized aluminum backing. The iPhone 6+ is 5.5 inches diagonally and iPhone 6 is 4.7 inches. The last iteration of the iPhone 5S was 4 inches only. The iPhone 6 is incredibly thin at 6.9 mm and 7.1 mm for the larger iPhone 6 Plus. As per the words of Cook, the company is “launching the biggest advancement in the history of iPhone.”
