Most of the manufacturers which use the Android platform had made it a point to deliver these two updates in a timely manner. However Samsung which boasts itself as the biggest smartphone manufacturer is lagging behind.

According to SamMobile, the South Korean electronics giant has started rolling out the Galaxy S3 Neo Android 4.4.4 KitKat update in Kazakhstan. It is available OTA or over the air. It is available via the company’s Samsung Kies software for PC. The update is believed to take care of some crucial Android 4.4.2 KitKat problems.
Neither is Galaxy S3 Neo is among the famous smartphones nor is Kazakhstan a focus region, so it is strange especially looking to the Galaxy S3′s Android 4.4 KitKat update situation.
The Galaxy Android 4.4.4 KitKat update is expected to arrive to other Galaxy S3 Neo users in future and this could be one of the many which could be slated for release in the near future.
Both Galaxy Alpha and rumored Galaxy S5 LTE-A for Europe will be running the Android 4.4.4 KitKat . Galaxy Note 4 will also have the Android 22.214.171.124 KitKat. The Sprint Galaxy Note 3 Android 4.4.4 KitKat update is now confirmed to be in testing as it too is listed inside of an RDF file on Sprint’s website.
