Apple has launched its iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus and also wearable which hit the stores next year. The story is not over yet and there are things to come in future. Rumors are pointing out that Apple will launch at least a new iPad model in a press event next month.
Competitors have tried to copy the iPad but they have never been able to repeat its success. Many Android and Windows OS operated devices have tried to ape iPad but none have been able to match the premium build quality, fan loyalty and ultimately the sales figures that Apple has enjoyed. There is very little about the new iPad at present but we can have an idea of what we could expect in the next iteration.
Rumors are flying thick about Apple planning an event for October 16, 2014. The venue is said to be the Cupertino Company’s Town Hall Auditorium situated in the corporate campus. Though not as big event as the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus event, it is not a pushover and will pack some punch.
The new iPad models will be taking the center stage along with a new 27-inch iMac system boasting a 5K resolution Retina display. This could be the answer to the Dell’s recently announced 5K monitor which it seeks to launch in November for $2500.
It is for the first time, Apple will be offering ultra high resolution display on its iMac line (all-in-one).This is interesting because Apple will have to choose a GPU to float the pixels at 5K. Not much is known about the new iPads which Apple intends to release. Rumors are that Apple will include Touch ID fingerprint scanner for iPads also. At present this is available only for iPhone. It is also rumored that Apple is adding a Gold Color option to its next iPad.
