As the date draws near for the Galaxy Note 4 release in September, the air is thick with leaks and rumors pertaining to the specs and the features of next iteration of the phablet from the South Korean Giant.
Samsung had sent media invites for an Unpacked 2014 Episode 2 press event for September 3rd. As we all are aware, the Unpacked Episode 1 was for the launch of Galaxy S5 and therefore it is logical to assume that the Unpacked Episode 2 will be the setting for the launch of the Galaxy Note 4.
The Galaxy Note 4 specs are being leaked even to this date and the latest comes from a Dutch site Mobifo who has unearthed a benchmark which it claims shows a list of Galaxy Note 4 specs. AnTuTu, yes this is the name of the bench mark for a device with a code SM N910 which is a known model number for the Galaxy Note 4. The benchmark reveals the details of the screen resolution, camera, software and more about the device.
The benchmark specifies the Galaxy Note 4 to feature a QHD or Quad HD display. This is something which has been rumored for some time now. However the benchmark does not specify the screen size which is rumored to be like the Galaxy Note 3, i.e. 5.7 inches.
The benchmark also lists Galaxy Note 4’s octa-core chip Exynos 5433 processor which touted to be present in the variants outside the US. The Galaxy Note 4 bound for US will feature a new Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor on board. The processors will be ably complemented with 4GB RAM though the benchmark lists the device to feature 3 GB RAM.
Samsung has worked on the Camera of its Galaxy Note 4 and it is rumored to be 16MP sensor along with auto focus, dual-LED flash, OIS or Optical Image Stabilization features. OIS is available in most of the competitor brands such as Nexus 5 and LG G3 and will be available on Samsung Flagships for the first time.
Rumors point out that the Galaxy Note 4 will be available with different storage variants and this includes 16 GB, 32 GB, and 64 GB. Rumors point out that only the 32 GB variant will be available in the US. Last year also only the 32 GB variant of the Galaxy Note 3 and the 16 GB variant of the Galaxy S5 were available in the US.
So the stage is set for the launch of the Galaxy Note 4 on September 3rd in Berlin. We will also be there to cover the event so keep connected to this site.
