Sarah Palin outraged conservative media with her recent speech held during an assembly Republican White House wannabes in Iowa. Among the most eye-popping remarks of the former vice presidential nominee, “screw the left” and “’Man’ can only ride ya when your back is bent” made headlines.
Political pundits criticized Mrs. Palin for her incoherent and rambling speech. However, she didn’t seem very affected by the “lamestream” media as she calls it. Inner sources, however, say that they have an explanation for the sloppy discourse – Palin’s prompter failed while she was speaking resulting in a “stream-of-consciousness speech” in which she even criticized Bill O’Reilly.
However, the big news of the week is that she still plans on running for President next year.
But before giving the big news she managed to amaze her audience with a set of very colorful bits of her thoughts.
As she was complaining about how even some GOP leaders were buying into that “subjective” income gap thing, “an unhealthy obsession,” as Mrs. Palin described it, she shouted “Screw the left in Hollywood!.” Soon after, she recommended that all conservative Republicans rip their cards and register as independents to teach leaders a lesson, but soon dropped it.
Another odd remark was related to a “800-pound elephant” in the White House ignored by the radical left representatives. In reality, elephants can weigh up to 15,000 lbs, so the line was all the more savory. She must have somehow combined the “elephant in the room” with the “800-pound gorilla in the room” phrase.
Many editors recommended that Mrs. Palin abandon race before it is too late because she was both making a fool of herself and damaging the Republican Party’s image by turning its member into “laughingstock.”
Political Satirist Jon Stewart also devoted an entire segment during his “The Daily Show” on Comedy Central to the event.
Another line leaving the audience muted was the “Any Muslim who would choose evil” followed by an incomprehensible continuation that made international headlines.
But the cherry on the cake that made many media pundits laugh was:
“Everyday-Americans are getting taken for a ride … and GOP leaders, by the way: the ‘Man’ can only ride ya when your back is bent, so strengthen it! Then the Man can’t ride ya and Americans won’t be taken for a ride.”
However, who laughs last laughs best since Mrs. Palin was actually quoting a Martin Luther King, Jr.’s line in its final speech before his assassination.
