Numerous gossipy tidbits were released regarding the Sony Xperia Z4, including the launch date. Some sources say that Sony Xperia Z4 will first be displayed at CES 2015, the huge expo for consumer gadgets industry. The event is considered a very good opportunity for Sony to market its new leader phone. However, it is also highly possible that the company will wait until the Mobile World Congress in March to formally launch the much expected Xperia Z4 phone.
But the rumors also give a lot of insights on the issue date of the Lollipop upgrade for the already released top Sony phones Z2 and Z3. And the information is so comprehensive that users may be in need of an Android L 5.0 and 5.0.2 upgrade guide book.
A late entry on Concept Phones presents a possible version of Sony Xperia Z4. According to the post the Z4 is going to fairly smaller than Z3. This feature might put the new phone at odds with recent trends. Most phone updates today actually market bigger -sized models compared to their original, like it is the case with iPhone and Galaxy S devices.
Apart from the size, the predicted specs include a gimmick called X-Ploid. This is a speaker innovation designed by Sony to enhance bass. The feature is less popular but it seems there will be double stereo speakers equipped with the X-Ploid and S Master HX Walkman.
Other forecasts confirm that there will also be an Xperia Z4 Compact. Allegedly, the handset will have 4.8 inch HD Triluminous Display along with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 805. The phone will be topped with 3 GB of RAM, 32 GB inside memory, and micro SD for up to 128 GB. Its batter will last as every other smartphone on the market, about 2 days and the back camera will take shots at 20.7 Megapixel. The front cam will have an enhance performance taking photos at 5 Megapixels.
A great part of the newly rumored specs of the Z4 contrast to those reported previously. For instance it was initially reported that the phone will have a 5.2 to 5.5 inch display but newer evidence suggests it might have less than 5 inch, about 4, 8inch precisely.
Most certainly, the Xperia Z4 will have the latest Lollipop version. It has already been announced that Lollipop will soon be added to the Xperia series, most probably with the start of next year.
