The Russian manufacturer Yota introduced a novel concept on the market. This is about a new smartphone that features two screens. While the main side operates a colorful display, the second one uses e-ink technology to offer a mobile experience that is more soothing to the eye. Therefore, it may not feature a large range of colors, but it offers a screen more suitable for longer activities, such as reading, playing games or listening to music. After YotaPhone and YotaPhone 2, the market is ready for the third version.
It Has Been Four Years Since Yota Company Released a New Product
During Harbin’s China-Russia Expo, Baoli Yota revealed new details about its most recent project, YotaPhone 3. First of all, its representatives put a deadline on this production, which happens to be this fall. This comes as great news for the fans and enthusiasts of this concept of the gadget. It has been four years since the second one appeared on the market. Given that top brands in this industry are releasing a lot of goodies on an annual basis, this window of silence lasted for too long.
The new model of this line will feature 64 GB or 128 GB of storage. The starting price will be of $350 yet the second version with extensive storage can reach $450. However, this is where novelties end. The third concept will be pretty much similar to its predecessors.
YotaPhone 3 Will Feature Bigger Displays for Its Two Screens
There will be small differences here and there that follow modern trends. These changes concern bigger two screens than before powered by a Snapdragon 625 chipset. The same technology can be found in other gadgets such as BlackBerry KEYone, ASUS ZenFone 3, and Moto Z Play.
As for the central piece of this concept, the dual screen system might be an improvement over its predecessors, but it is definitely not the peak of today’s technology. The front screen is a 5.5 inch 1080p AMOLED display while the e-Ink touchscreen has 5.2 inches. The new model will keep the dual SIM slots and will offer a fingerprint sensor in the front.
