The family of Whitney Houston’s daughter, Bobbi Kristina, has decided that they are going to disconnect the 21-year-old from machines and allow her to die. But they are going to wait until Wednesday, February 11 so that she can die on the same date as her mother did.
The person who thought of Bobbi Kristina being taken off life support on the same day her mother died was Whitney Houston’s mother and Bobbi’s grandmother, Cissy Houston.
Both families talked about how to handle this difficult situation at the Emory University Hospital in Atlanta where Bobbi Kristina is currently admitted.
The Brown family agreed with Houston family to have Bobbi Kristina taken off life support at 12am so that her death aligns with her mother’s at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. This is the only thing that the two families appear to have agreed on, as there have been many arguments between the members of the Houston and Brown family since Bobbi Kristina was found head down in the bathtub.
A Brown family source admitted to the press that this gesture is merely a symbolic one that is meant to keep mother and daughter together for eternity.
Bobbi Kristina is the only child of Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown. She was found unresponsive in the bathtub at her Roswell, Ga home on January 31, 2015. The young woman is brain dead and there is no chance that she would wake up and function ever again.
Tyler Perry, filmmaker, was a close friend of Whitney’s and he played a major role in maintaining the peace between the two families. He is also in charge of the funeral arrangements, as he is a person both sides of the family love and respect.
Whitney Houston’s cause of death was ruled to be accidental drowning. The singer had been taking powerful sedatives which caused her to be unable to save herself from drowning in the bathtub.
